How to install subframe connectors
First if you weld them in I would remove seats and carpet and sound deadener. It is also a good time to check any cracks in the floor pan next to the seats and weld them up also. I recommend that they be welded in. Bolting will work but the bolts will come loose in time.
Align them on the front and rear subframes where the nose of the connector is 1/8” behind the transmission cross member. Mark where subframe connectors touch the subframe and sand off all paint and undercoating. The metal is thin be careful.
Use a jack to lightly press the connector against the frame and MIG-weld them completely along the edges where they touch the frame. Next clamp the reinforcement plates on each side and weld them in place. Weld them to the frame and the connector. Do the same on the rear. The angle goes on the inside rear.
Install the TC subframs the same way. only difference is the TC subframes are straight .
