It all started in the summer of 1997. I traded for the svo in July. It had been sitting for 6 years. One good thing it only had 54,000 miles . The fuel pumps were bad and the front brakes calipers were locked up.

The first thing I did was change the fuel pumps. I replaced the two with one in the tank.

Next I rebuilt the brake calipers .

I was able to drive the car now .

After I drove it for a while I had to replace the rack and the front struts.

I installed a cd stereo and than put a gt shifter handle on the shifter, the Hurst one was in the way of the cd when in fifth gear.

I had to put new tires on it twice I am running Dunlop's now.

They hold the road good

Next I had to replace the upper control are bushings on the rear end.

I ordered a K&N air filter part# re-0930.

I installed it the next night, car ran very good boost came on faster It is a must for anybody with a turbo ford.

I installed a turbo boost control valve it was easy. The valve

was bought from McMaster-Carr supply part # 48935K25

The turbo spools fast up to the set boost. I set mine for 15psi for running hard and I am going to put a air solenoid

valve and a toggle switch in the car for every day driving it will only allow 10 psi

I installed my sub frames 5/29/01.

I made them myself .

I ordered the tubing, had them bent to fit the frame and floor, than welded them in it was not that bad of a job they fit good.

The car drives very good in made a big difference in the hole car . I would recommend them for any mustang.

This is the K&Nair filter installed on my svo it fit ok I made the bracket out of 1/8 stainless steel

12/03/01

Installed T-Bird Super Coupe intercooler today

Will post more soon

New 3" exhaust was installed today 1/17/02. I have to give credit to Danny King the installer he did a very good job.

It sounds good, a little loud  but I will get use to it I think.

The car runs better , turbo spools up faster .

Here is a picture While the car was still on the rack.
